Note: Saint Brigid of Kildare's cross is a famous emblem in Ireland, on the 1st February many families make her cross with straw and then display it prominently in their homes. The cross is thought to keep evil, fire and hunger away. I played with the idea of using craft to summon, protect or ask for something. So, I made 'Visual Petition' as a way of urging winter to be over and inviting spring to return.
Will arrived unframed on a mounting board ready for framing.
