Feamainn, 2026

£165.00

Hand embroidery and print on Irish linen | Wool and mixed threads | One-off work | Dimensions to be added

Feamainn (Irish for seaweed) is inspired by the remarkable variety of seaweed found along the Irish coastline. The work brings together five different strands, celebrating their delicate forms.

The embroidery is worked using a mixture of wool, silk and various other threads. Some are naturally dyed, while others are vintage threads sourced from charity shops, bringing together materials with their own histories.

The artwork arrives unframed on a white mounting board, ready for framing.
This is a unique work. There are no reproductions, no editions, made by hand.
