Racálach, 2026

£125.00

Hand embroidery and print on Irish linen | Wool and mixed threads (naturally dyed and vintage synthetic) | One-off work | 13 cm by 18 cm

Racálach (Irish for cast-up seaweed) is inspired by a single strand of seaweed washed ashore.

The work reflects my fascination with the small details found along the coastline.

The embroidery is worked using a mixture of silk threads. Some are naturally dyed, while others are vintage threads sourced from charity shops, bringing together materials with their own histories.

The artwork arrives unframed on a mounting board, ready for framing.
This is a unique work. There are no reproductions, no editions, made by hand.

Made in Ireland.
